Sand is the most important material, which is widely used in building, construction, highways, concrete, etc. Generally, sand includes natural sand and machine made sand. As we all now, there have a large demand of sand, and natural sand can not meet the demand, so the substitution of machine made sand to natural sand has become a steady tendency. Sand making machines

Machine-made sand are processing from large stone, such as limestone, marble, granite and other stone. Stones that used as sand less than 4 mm. But the raw stone usually have the size from 4mm to 700 mm. So the limestone crusher, marble crusher and granite crusher are used in sand making line.
Equipments used in sand making flow have many types, but customer can choose the suitable one according the different factors. Jaw crushers are used to processing large size to small size. Impact crushers are used to processing stones that are not very hard and easy to impact to sand. Cone crushers are used to processing materials like granite which is harder. But if the raw materials are not very large, such as the river stone, they can be directly feed into sand making crusher ( the max input size of Kefid VSI crusher are 45mm ) and not need to use jaw crusher or impact crusher..
In order to design a complete sand making plant, many other optional equipments needs to equipped with. We recommend you with Kefid vibrating feeder, vibrating screen, belt conveyor, sand washing machine, etc.

Sand making flow

Raw stones are first feed into jaw crusher via vibrating feeder for crushing, and then the elementary stones are transferred via the belt conveyor to the secondary crushing machine ( impact crusher or cone crusher ) for secondary crushing. After this, Liming Heavy Industry vibrating screen machines separates the small size stones into two kinds. The one suitable the standard of the VSI Crusher ( sand making crusher ) will be conveyed to the sand making machine and become final sand after being washed by the sand washing machine. The other one will return to the secondary crushing machine for recrushing.

Three types of sand making flow :

Type one: vibrating feeder + jaw crusher + cone crusher + vibrating screen + VSI crusher + sand washing machine
Type two: vibrating feeder + jaw crusher + impact crusher + vibrating screen + VSI crusher + sand washing machine
Type three: vibrating feeder + VSI crusher + vibrating screen+ sand washing machine
